Helen Wilson

Helen Wilson is the founder of Womankind Yoga & Therapies and a highly experienced Senior Yoga Teacher with more than 20 years of personal yoga practice and over 5,000 hours of teaching experience. For more than 12 years, Helen has supported hundreds of women through yoga, yoga therapy, massage and restorative practices. She has completed extensive 200-hour Foundation, 500-hour Advanced and Yoga Therapy Teacher Trainings, and is particularly passionate about helping women use yoga as a pathway to greater wellbeing, resilience and self-care. Helen's teaching is warm, compassionate and deeply experienced — creating classes where you can leave the outside world behind and reconnect with yourself. RESTORATIVE YOGA AT THE HEALING GROUND Join Helen for an hour of deep rest, restoration and reconnection. Restorative Yoga is a wonderfully gentle practice designed to allow the body and nervous system to truly switch off. Using plenty of supportive props, you'll settle into just a handful of deeply held postures, remaining comfortably supported for several minutes at a time. There is no pushing, stretching or striving. Instead, you'll be invited to soften, breathe and simply be — allowing the body to gradually release physical tension and the mind to quieten. This is a beautiful practice for anyone feeling stressed, fatigued, overwhelmed or simply in need of some dedicated time to themselves. No previous yoga experience is needed, and the practice can be adapted to suit your individual needs. Fridays from 2nd October at The Healing Ground, Pontardawe. Come exactly as you are.
